More than just fillings
We have the tools, techniques, and procedures necessary to repair a damaged tooth.
Fillings are the restoration most people are likely familiar with. But that’s just the beginning of the different ways we can help you if your teeth are damaged for any reason. Trust our experience!
Fillings
This is the most common restoration we perform. To fill a cavity we use a tooth-coloured material called composite resin that blends in with the colour of your natural tooth. These start as liquids, but are hardened in seconds using UV light. Depending on the situation, we may use amalgam (metal) fillings too.
Crowns
For teeth that are too badly damaged for a filling, a crown is often the perfect solution. Crowns are prosthetic “caps” that are bonded to the top of your tooth. They’re made from a strong composite material that matches the colour of your natural teeth, so they become invisible.
Inlays and onlays
We typically turn to inlays and onlays when the space or cavity we need to fill is too large or difficult for a traditional filling. Inlays and onlays are solid composite pieces, coloured to match your tooth, that are then cemented into place.
Bridges
A bridge is a set of prosthetic teeth that “bridge the gap” created by missing teeth.
